6th Humanities Visits Museum

Students from Jordan Roquemore’ s 6th Grade Humanities classes participated in “The Power of One” lab in the Museum last week. The students focused on four American leaders (General George Washington, President Gerald Ford, Sgt. Alvin York and Second Lt. John J. De Angelis) who would not compromise their faith to accomplish a goal, and because of their choice, they changed the world! With the ultimate goal of honoring God above all else, the students made entries in their journals setting 3 goals for themselves: one goal for this year, one for the end of 8th grade, and one for the end of high school. They also set guidelines for themselves on what they needed to do to accomplish those goals and what they would not do or compromise to reach those goals.
