The Brook Hill School opened its doors in 1997 to only thirty-one students in grades six through eight and entered its second decade with an enrollment of over five hundred students in pre-kindergarten through grade twelve. Today, this vibrant, private, Christian school located on 280 scenic acres in East Texas includes a college-quality campus, a Smithsonian-quality museum and a boarding community of students from around the country and the world.

Brook Hill attracts some of the finest educators in the United States. Over fifty percent of the middle and upper school faculty hold advanced degrees in their area of expertise and all are committed to providing an education which integrates faith and learning. The curriculum provides a solid liberal arts education based on universal truths, foundational principles, enduring traditions, and the great literature of history.

Education at Brook Hill strives to develop the whole student. A balance of instruction is offered so that students grow in knowledge, skills, and wisdom through the perspective of a biblical worldview. This strong balance contributes to the academic success that abounds at Brook Hill.

Regardless of the age a student enters The Brook Hill School, it is recognized that they arrive with God-given gifts ready to be developed. Knowing that each student is uniquely created in the image of God, Brook Hill instructors and coaches seek to challenge each student’s potential by helping them unleash and then share their gifts with the community at large.

Whether one is gifted academically, artistically or athletically, the students at Brook Hill are provided countless opportunities to be challenged: Advanced Placement and Dual Credit courses, vocal and instrumental music programs, theater and visual arts classes plus a full complement of sports and interest-based clubs. Even outside of the traditional academic arena, students will find opportunities to achieve success.

In all facets of the educational experience - from the classroom to the practice field to the stage - Brook Hill students are continuously challenged to grow in Christ-like character. At the core of Brook Hill’s mission is the desire to prepare students for life including worldview training through Bible classes, Chapel and other leadership, service and social opportunities.
