Advisory Program

At The Brook Hill School we recognize the value of positive adult involvement in the lives of kids.  Especially during the teenage years, it is so very important for adolescents to have a significant adult figure whom they can go to as they begin to ask the more difficult questions of life.  To ensure that every student has that relationship in his or her life we offer an Advisory Program to all of our middle and upper school students.  Once a week for twenty minutes, immediately following weekly chapel, all middle and upper school students take time out of their schedules to meet in their advisory groups, made up of other students of the same gender in their grade with their advisor.   The time is designed to focus on character development, one of the three pillars of The Brook Hill School, and general encouragement for daily life.  This is also a time when students can share prayer requests so that the advisor or other students may give prayerful attention to those needs.
