The last three years of her teaching experience were spent teaching with the Texas Department of Criminal Justice for the Windham Independent School District. While at the prison, she taught Literacy and GED preparation.

She lives in Jacksonville with her husband Ted. The Bunn’s have two children and three grandchildren.

Mrs. Bunn’s enjoys spending time with her grandchildren and her extended family. She also loves to sing and play the piano. She is a member of Central Baptist Church where she sings in the choir, plays hand bells, and is a member of a ladies ensemble.

She knew that God called her to be a teacher when she was a little girl. After enjoying retirement for almost two years, Mrs. Bunn felt it was time to get back to doing what she loves best. She feels blessed to be teaching again, especially at Brook Hill!
