Kim Carnes
MS/US Librarian

Kim Carnes is a graduate of Stephen F. Austin State University with a Bachelor of Science in Education. She holds Texas certification in Elementary Education and a Learning Resources endorsement. Mrs. Carnes has many years experience in education as a kindergarten and first grade teacher as well as librarian.

Mrs. Carnes is married and has two daughters. She and her family attend Green Acres Baptist Church where Mrs. Carnes is active in the pre-school program, vacation Bible school and various Bible studies. Kim has served the Tyler community in many ways including: American Heart Association Committee, past member of Junior League, Spring Sweep, Summer Reading Camp for TISD, and projects with Boys & Girls Club of Tyler. She has taught cheerleading camps all over East Texas as well as in Germany while in high school and college.
