Ms. O’Brien is a graduate of the University of North Texas where she earned her Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts in English. She has over twenty-five years experience in public education, three years as a college instructor, and more than fifteen years teaching Advanced Placement and pre-AP English. Ms. O’Brien has two children and one granddaughter. Her daughter and son-in-law have recently moved to the Houston area where they are in ministry. Her son is in physics research at The University of Tokyo. In her spare time Ms. O’Brien   enjoys travelling, decorating, reading, and cooking.
