Neal McGowan
MS Humanities Teacher
Neal McGowan grew up in Van, Texas and went to public school through his ninth grade year. He then transferred to a private Christian school in tenth grade where he played soccer, found a love of learning and grew tremendously in his faith.
Following high school, Neal received his Bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Dallas. While there he was privileged to study classical Greek and German in addition to his studies in English. After Neal received his degree he married his finance, Jennifer, and moved back to East Texas. Prior to teaching at Brook Hill he worked on a ranch and volunteered teaching ESL.
