Ricky Clements first heard the rumors, in the mid 1990’s, about a new private Christian school to be built in the Bullard area.  He and his family made many visits to Brook Hill during the early construction phases of the school.  He has had a child attending Brook Hill every year since 1999.  His first two children graduated from Brook Hill (Aaron – Class of ’06 and Whitney -  Class of ’07) and his youngest child will graduate from Brook Hill in 2012.  Almost from the inception of the The Brook Hill School, he has worked as a volunteer coaching almost every sport.  His wife Marla has worked for Brook Hill for 10 years and in April of 2011, Mr. Clements became a part of the Brook Hill coaching staff.

Previously Coach Clements worked for an oil field service company for over 30 years where he served as President, CEO, and Board Member.  He served on steering and sub-committees with many different organizations including the Railroad Commission of Texas, the United States Department of Energy, Sabine River Authority, Texas Independent Producers and Royalty Owners, Independent Petroleum Association of America, and Ground Water Protection Council.

His accomplishments include: co-organizer of the Highway 42 & Sabine River Boat Ramp Project, Chairman of the company’s Environmental Oversight Committee, a bio-remediation research project with The University of Texas at Tyler, a biological stream study with the Texas Parks and Wildlife, organized and directed the company’s contribution to the East Texas Oil Museum and has written magazine articles regarding environmental issues and public relations.
