Sharon Seibert
Middle School Science
     

After graduating from Lamar University with a degree in Elementary Education, Ms. Seibert began her teaching career in the Houston ISD; then after three years she moved to Fort Bend ISD teaching fourth and fifth grades for seven years.

Ms. Seibert then took a position working overseas in the military schools, first in Germany for fourteen years teaching all levels of elementary and middle school. She then moved to Okinawa, Japan for nine years. During these years she continued her professional growth by attending Houston Baptist University, the University of Houston, the University of St. Thomas, and the University of Maryland.

While living in Europe and Asia, Ms. Seibert took advantage of the wonderful opportunities for travel and extraordinary life experiences. She has been blessed to have visited over thirty-three countries on four continents in the twenty-three years spent overseas.

Ms. Seibert’s teaching experience includes all elementary and middle school grades and Gifted and Talented grades K-8. She has coached Odyssey of the Mind, Math Olympiad, and television production to elementary students. She attributes her gray hair to having produced over 1000 live television programs with kids from kindergarten to 7th grade.

In 2003 Ms. Seibert moved to Jacksonville to be closer to her beloved father and the rest of her extended family. In Jacksonville, she has found a wonderful community and a church to call home. She is a member of Central Baptist Church.

Ms. Seibert is honored to have been selected to teach at The Brook Hill School. She is very excited to have the opportunity to help such fine young people grow to their full potential in both their academic life and in their walk with our Lord, Jesus Christ.
