Stan Ward
Bible Department Chair
Bible teacher and department chair Stan Ward is a published writer, conference speaker, and former Pine Cove director. His education includes degrees from Oklahoma Baptist University (Bachelor of Arts in Religion) and Southwestern (Master of Divinity) and additional coursework in Hebrew (Texas Christian University), humanities (Dallas Institute of Humanities and Culture), and current PhD work at Dallas Baptist University (Educational Leadership). He left Pine Cove in 2001 to join the staff of The Brook Hill School.
His current reading interests include C. S. Lewis, J. R. R. Tolkein, Howard Gardner, and leadership biographies. Stan’s free time includes playing guitar, mandolin, and ukulele (though rarely at the same time), as well as running, fishing, and enjoying the company of his wife and daughters.
Stan especially appreciates Brook Hill’s commitment to the discipleship of the whole person: intellectual, physical, and spiritual.
