Susan Westcot
US Science Teacher

Susan Westcot began teaching as a laboratory instructor in Anatomy and Physiology while completing her master’s degree.  She was later hired by the Memphis Zoo’s education department to develop and increase educational programs.  In this position she taught students from pre-school through high school about biology and animals.  She has had various other teaching experiences including being a pre-school teacher and an educational aide for at-risk middle schoolers.

Mrs. Westcot has a B.S. and a M.S. in Biology from the University of Memphis.  In her free time she enjoys being outside, traveling, and spending time with her family.
