Wally Dawkins has been coaching for 27 years, the last 21 as Head Coach at Whitehouse High School and has a career record of 559-234. Coach Dawkins and his wife Laurie have two grown children: son Brady and daughter Drew. Coach Dawkins has been selected as “Coach of the Year” 15 times, and in 2008 he was named “East Texas Boys Basketball Coach of the Year” by Tyler Morning-Telegraph.
