Brook Hill students spend the day serving others

The Brook Hill School Service Day is a vital part of what makes Resurrection Week real for the students. We spent the entire week focused on Christ and His resurrection. Then just as Christ told his disciples to “Go Out” in Matthew 28, we want to instill in our students a mindset of “service” rather than “selfishness.” On this day, The Brook Hill Upper School goes out into the East Texas Community serving various individuals and ministries.

“We don’t do this because of anything we have done or need, but because Christ has called us to walk in a manner worthy of the calling which we have received,” Nathanael Mattay, Director of Campus Life and Ministry, said. (Ephesians 4:1)
