Mission:
Cadet Club seeks to provide before and after school care for
Lower School scholars consistent with The Brook Hill School’s
mission emphasizing enrichment activities, Christian character
development, and recreation.

Cadet Club operates on school days and school half days (closed
on school holidays and vacation days)

Supervision:
There will be a qualified adult to supervise children in Cadet Club. Occasionally, there will be select Upper School students screened for their ability to work responsibly with children serving as counselors-in-training.
Grouping:
Students will be grouped by age and interest whenever possible.
Pick up:
Students will only be released to parents and those they designate.
Designated persons must be named in writing by parents prior
to pick-up
WE CARD - Any adult, who is
not familiar to our staff, including parents, will be asked
to verify pick-up authorization and show a picture ID. Please
be patient with our staff. It will take them a while to recognize
which authorized adult goes with which child. The purpose is
to keep our scholars out of harms way.
Activities:
• Arts and Crafts
• Games and Sports
• Clubs – e.g. Chess, mystery, book, science etc.
• Off campus trips (usually on early release days)
• Homework and extra help
Dress:
The school uniform will be fine for most activities. You will
be contacted in advance if the activities require a different
dress then the Brook Hill uniform.
Sign in/out:
It is required that students be signed into and out of Cadet
Club.
Cost:
Unlimited Use:
An Unlimited Ticket qualifies participants to use Cadet Club
any time the Cadet Club is open. The cost is $2600 per year
for a student in Pre-Kindergarten or $1500 per year for a student
in K-5th grade, which will be paid in two equal installments
at the beginning of each semester.
Occasional Use:
An 80-hour ticket may be purchased from the Lower School Office
or Business Office for $240. Each hour or portion of an hour
in half hour increments is deducted from the ticket when used.
The 80-hour ticket will expire 4 months from purchase regardless
of the unused hours. Tickets will be kept at the school and
parents will be notified when a new one should be purchased.
No refunds for unused hours will be given.
Once in a while or emergency
use:
If a child who is not normally in Cadet Club needs care because
of some unforeseeable event (like Tyler traffic), he or she
will be cared for in Cadet Club. The cost for this extended
service is $5.00 per hour (or portion of an hour used) to be
paid at the time of pick-up or drop off.
Late
and Other charges:
Students picked up after closing time (6:00 pm) will be charged
10.00 per quarter hour or portion thereof. Drop-in and Late
fees are due at pick-up. An additional 25% of fees due will
be charged if the amount needs to be billed.
