The team of Austin Langemeier, Preston Swink, Jared Dickey, and Kenai Walker won First Place this past weekend at the 1st Annual Caliente Relay with a time of 39:10.  The event consisted of a 4 man team, each runner completing the mile and one-half course.

Coach Rudy Jaramillo and Head Track Coach Dave Vinson were especially proud of the entire Cross Country Teams efforts.

"i'm expecting this to be a learning, growing, competative, and positive season for the crooss country team"  Coach Jaramillo noted.  "The team has an excellent dynamic.  We are expecting great things from this group of young men.  This is our first year to compete in cross country and we believe we have a legitimate chance at winning state.  Our kids have shown a great desire to compete and are really excited."
