Eighth grade is learning about Corrie ten Boom and her life during the Holocaust

The American Freedom Museum in an invaluable teaching tool. Students in 8th grade Humanities were given an overview of WWII in preparation for the novel The Hiding Place. Mrs. Bynum summarized the war and introduced the students to the story of Corrie ten Boom, author of The Hiding Place.  After visiting the Holocaust section of the museum, she reminded the students about the importance of forgiveness as evidenced in the life of Ms. ten Boom.
