Eleventh grade in American Freedom Museum for 9/11

Mrs. Mattay’s 11th grade Humanities classes visited the museum for a lesson on 9/11 this week! Students watched a video and heard from Mrs. Bynum about the causes and effects of that day on the U.S. They were tasked with making decisions as the President did, based on the events that took place on that day. This was very useful for our students because they were born only 3-9 months prior to this event and do not have personal experience or memories of that day. Just another way the American Freedom Museum is making a lasting impact on students!
