Every month this year, 5th Grade will immerse themselves in a different part of our museum. In August, the students had hands on experiences with artifacts from each area of the museum. This week, the students focused on Sept. 11, 2001. Since they were not born in that year, many were hearing and seeing events unfold for the first time. Personal connections of their teachers and Mrs. Bynum made the information more real for the students.
