Dear Prospective Family,

Since the inception of The Brook Hill School there has been a strong commitment to establish a Student Tuition Assistance fund whereby families desiring to attend Brook Hill would have financial help if needed.  Since the very first year, many families have benefited from this commitment and several hundred thousand dollars have been raised to cover the awarded assistance.  As the school has grown, so have the requests for financial assistance.  These additional requests have made it impossible for us to meet the full requests for financial help.  Therefore, the Fill the Seats (FTS) Program has been created.
The program runs from August to May and is based on the availability of seats in a particular grade at the beginning of the new school year.  For qualifying families, tuition is set to allow a discount based on the amount of assistance for which they qualified.  With the number of returning and new students fluctuating every year, there are no set numbers of seats available for each grade level each year, consequently there are no guaranteed seats from year to year.  Each family who qualifies for the FTS program will need to reapply each new school year. SSS will then send the school a report indicating how much they believe you should be able to pay for your child’s tuition.  The report is then taken to the Student Tuition Assistance Committee who reviews all applications and the number of projected seats available in all grade levels for the next year.  They then notify families who have applied of seats available and tuition assistance available.  The family then must determine whether or not they will pursue a Brook Hill education for that year for their child.
