Fourth graders from Mrs. Dawkins’s and Mrs. Ponce’s class finished the service project started in early December. Each student brought at least one sheet for the Benevolent Center at the West Erwin Church of Christ.

The sheets were torn into strips by the ladies at the center, and then the students rolled the strips into bandages that are sent to a hospital in Africa. The students were also able to help the center sort clothes and food for the needy people that visit the center. It is a fantastic opportunity for the 4^th graders to help and serve others in need. Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others. (1 Peter 4:10)
