It is a mystery. I don’t know how to explain it, but it happens all of the time. I can be in a sea of people and all of a sudden I see someone from Brook Hill and my heart flutters.

It happened again last night at the Tyler Area Counselor’s College Fair. There were hundreds of people at the College Fair talking to college representatives and finding out more about possible college options and in those hundreds of people I would spot a Brook Hill student or parent. There it went—a heart flutter. The evening was delightful. College reps were in their element—marketing their college or university and recruiting students; and students were collecting brochures, putting their names on mailing lists, and picking up a pen or two. It was wonderful… Heart flutters and all.
