Starbrooks
Cleverly named by 2005/2006 Juniors, Starbrooks is one of the most recent Campus Life additions to The Brook Hill School. As an extension of the Brook Hill Prefect program, Starbrooks offers students the opportunity to develop business skills, and all that entails, by actually managing the shop itself. This hands-on approach to student ministry involves marketing, purchasing, sales, inventory, customer service and financial responsibilities. Six prefects are responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of our thriving coffee shop where students congregate with their classmates and enjoy a variety of snacks and drinks ranging from muffins and ice cream to frappaccinos and sodas over a game of chess, ping pong, air hockey or billiards. And that is only one face of our coffee shop ministry. Through Starbrooks students are also afforded a variety of evening gatherings where they are invited to take part in talent nights, engage in spirited debates or simply kick back to the sounds of some smooth contemporary or old school live jazz. With its varied nuances, Starbrooks adds a dynamic to Brook Hill that enhances the life of the campus in an exhilarating fashion.
