Ramiro Ardon
Mr. Ardón was born in the Central American country of Honduras. After graduating high school in Honduras, he earned a scholarship through Georgetown University to come to the United States to study language and computer science. When he moved to Texas, he started working as a bilingual assistant while attending Stephen F. Austin to earn a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with an emphasis on elementary/bilingual education. He later completed a master’s degree in bilingual education as well as a second master’s degree in Spanish. In the spring of 2014, he also started teaching Spanish at Collin College in Plano as an adjunct professor. In the summer of 2021, Mr.Ardón took early retirement after 25 years of teaching elementary students from 1st – 5th grade. He has taught Spanish for nine years at Collin College. In the fall semester of 2023, he became a Spanish adjunct professor for Tyler Junior College and UT Tyler.
