Nikki Bouwer completed her Bachelor of Medicine & Bachelor of Surgery degree in 2006. She completed her Master of Medicine degree in the specialty of Hematological Pathology in 2014 and has enjoyed being involved in diagnostic pathology, post-graduate education and resident training for over a decade. Nikki grew up in Johannesburg, South Africa and moved to Tyler in 2023 along with her husband Stephaan, and two boys, Nate and Ben, who both attend Brook Hill (class of ’33 and class of ’35). Nikki and her family have loved getting to know their new home and being a part of the Brook Hill family and she is excited to share her passion for science with her students.
