Michelle Chesley received a B.S. in Psychology from Texas Christian University in 1993 and completed a post-baccalaureate program in Elementary Education at The University of Texas at Tyler in 2001, receiving certification in Pre-K – 6th grade with an Early Childhood Endorsement. She has taught Pre-K and 3-year-olds both publicly and privately, and served as curriculum coach in TISD. She has also home-schooled her daughter for 6th-8th grades, and tutored privately in her home.
Born and raised in Tyler, Michelle is married to Scott and they have two children, Claire, a 2018 graduate of Brook Hill, and Cade, a current BH student. The Chesleys are active members of Green Acres Baptist Church where they have served in 3-year-old, Pre-K, 5th, 7th, & 8th grade Sunday Morning Bible study classes; as well as in AWANA, VBS, and Children’s Choir.
Michelle enjoys spending time with family & friends, cooking, and watching her children do what they love – play baseball, basketball, football, piano, guitar, and dance. She loves Brook Hill and says that it has been a huge blessing in her family’s life.
Her life verse is Ephesians 3:20, “God can do anything, you know – far more than you could ever imagine, guess, or request even in your wildest dreams.” (The Message)
