Jessica grew up in Central Wisconsin and attended the University of Wisconsin for her B.S. in Communication Science. After graduating, she earned her M.B.A. from the Wisconsin School of Business in Strategic Management. She has an extensive background in sales, sales operations and small business consulting working with start-ups to Fortune 500 enterprises across a variety of industries.

While her background is steeped in business, Jessica has always been passionate about history and education. After taking a break to enjoy her children and moving back to Tyler, Jessica was blessed to be called to Brook Hill and support The Brook Hill Fund through fundraising efforts.

Mrs. Hood enjoys spending time on the family farm with her husband, John, two children and chocolate lab Gunner. There they can be found playing in the dirt, watching sunsets, planting trees, stargazing, and simply enjoying God’s creation.
