Makenna Sanders previously trained and coached in Oklahoma and Texas before her time at Brook Hill. She received a Bachelor’s of Science in Pre-Occupational Therapy from Southern Nazarene University when she played volleyball for all four years. After she graduated from SNU, she worked in Physical Therapy clinics for 2 years. Makenna has been coaching club volleyball since 2018 as well as a homeschool volleyball program last year in Oklahoma.

Makenna and husband recently moved to East Texas after getting married this past May. She is married to Dalton Sanders who had a family member attend Brook Hill a few years back. She loved spending time coaching and training young athletes. She also enjoys hiking and taking road trips with her dog.
