Nicole Shigley joined the Resident Life team as a girls Boarding Parent after serving with Mercy Ships in Dakar, Senegal. She holds a Bachelor of Science with a focus in Christian Ministries and Child Advocacy and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Indiana Wesleyan University. She is currently studying to obtain her Doctor of Nursing Practice as a Family Nurse Practitioner.

Nicole is an avid reader and enjoys learning about history. Nicole’s love of travel and experiencing new cultures has led her across the country and around the world. She has traveled to forty-nine states, visited thirteen countries, and participated in mission work in four of those countries: Australia, Haiti, Nicaragua, and Senegal.

Nicole is excited to welcome boarding students into the Shigley house to empower, support, and live life with them. Her heartfelt desire is to be a witness for God and share the love of Christ with her girls.
