11th Grade Bible – Presentations

As part of their worldview curriculum, 11th grade Bible students have spent the last week researching specific topics concerning the religion of Judaism.  Each student has been assigned a topic, such as “Who do the Jews believe God is,” “What are the key dates in Jewish history,” “How do the Jews deal with the problem of evil,” and “What are the Jewish Dietary Laws and customs.”  The students research, and then present this topic to the rest of the class.  The hope is that the students will get a more complete picture of the Jewish faith if they all take a little piece of it, instead of tackling the Jewish beliefs as a whole.  Alongside the presentations, the students gave supplemental notes for their topic.  At the end of the unit, each student had a packet worth of information to describe the Jewish faith.
