Welcome to Brook Hill!

I could not be more excited the Lord led our family to Brook Hill. Educating the next generation for Christ and His Kingdom is not only my passion but also my calling. I am grateful for the opportunity to build on the foundation that Steve Dement and many others laid nearly 30 years ago.

As we look to the future, I am excited to lead the Brook Hill family in pursuing excellence in every area of our school. Our approach is three-fold: mission-centered, discipleship-focused, and relationship-driven.

As an academic institution, our MISSION is to be Christ-centered and college-preparatory from our youngest pre-kindergarten students through our college-bound seniors. Brook Hill’s intentional academic approach inspires students to become owners of their education through expert instruction, vigorous class discussion, group collaboration, technology integration, and expeditionary learning opportunities – all in the context of a globally diverse community.

While academics is our core, and college preparation is a given, what sets us apart at Brook Hill is our commitment to partner with parents in the Christian DISCIPLESHIP of their children. Students spend as much time, if not more, with their teachers and coaches as their parents during the school week. Because of this, raising the next generation is more than just imparting facts for college entrance exams. Our teachers and coaches understand their role as a calling and take advantage of our unique ability to share the gospel with our students.

Brook Hill is often described as a family, and our focus on RELATIONSHIPS is the driving force behind that distinction. As every parent with multiple children understands, each of our children is uniquely and wonderfully made. Our faculty and staff recognize this and take extra care to know students individually. Because Brook Hill offers so many opportunities for students to participate in fine arts, service projects, academic and co-curricular clubs, athletics, and even international cultures, every student can find a place to thrive. Our teachers and staff help students pursue endeavors outside their comfort zones, find their passions, grow their gifts, and pursue them to the glory of God.
