Speech students have been working on an assignment for the “Story Corps Great Thanksgiving Listen.” This is a national homework assignment where students will interview an elder with the Story Corps app. They will then upload these interviews to the app where they will be added to the library of congress. Students are currently interviewing classroom partners for practice. They will interview grandparents, veterans, etc. over the Thanksgiving break.
