1st Grade Penguin Party

Our 1st grade fathers, grandfathers, and even some uncles joined us on Friday for some pizza as we celebrated all the things we’ve been learning about penguins. Students made a penguin for their dads, and then participated in a series of relay races that taught us all some fun facts about penguins. For instance, did you know that when imperial penguins hatch eggs, the father actually keeps the egg warm?  It was great to have our dads on campus and to enjoy a great time of learning!
