2nd and 3rd graders performed their fall musical this week in chapel. Students told the story of a group of people who got lost at sea. They were lost on a deserted island, only to find help in the most unlikely of places. A group of natives showed kindness to the lost crew by giving them food and water. Ultimately, the natives gave the most important gift – the good news that Jesus can save them. Through word and song students shared that we must build our house on the rock, not sand, that Jesus is the true bread and his spirit teaches us the fruits of righteousness. What is more students shared that only Jesus can quench the thirst of our souls and save us from ruin. The crew, having found Christ went on to share the good news as the natives had done.
