2nd Grade Visits American Freedom Museum
Thursday was a beautiful day for second grade to walk over to the American Freedom Museum. Students toured the museum quickly with Mrs. Robyn Bynum and then were tasked with finding information on their own. Students partnered up with one another and where given a single picture that they had to go find in the museum. Once they found their item in the photograph, they had to answer several questions about what the item was and why it was important to American history. Then student’s went back through the museum and acted as the tour guide for everyone else, as they moved from exhibit to exhibit. Students shared the information they had learned and Mrs. Bynum engaged the students with unique and interesting stories about our freedom in America.
