During chapel this Wednesday, Mrs. Gibson’s 5th grade class taught the final part of the Guard Charge to our lower school students! To illustrate how to “Follow the King,” students performed 3 stories from scripture: The Parable of the Good Samaritan, The Parable of the Unforgiving Servant, and The Story of Jesus Calling His Disciples. Each story taught us that we should love everyone, forgive others, and to share the good news of Christ, encouraging others to follow the King as we follow him!

What a powerful way for our students to teach one another about the love, forgiveness, and power of our great God to save! Ultimately, we learned that we should follow Christ, wherever he may lead us, without hesitation. We look forward to the many other chapels this year where our own students will teach one another about Christ!
