6th Grade Explores Scientific Method
Sixth graders have been learning the steps of the scientific method. To demonstrate their understanding, they were given the problem of figuring out if more Kool-Aide spills if one pours it while sitting or standing. They then developed a hypothesis and procedure to test out their problem. Once all of their data was obtained, they displayed it in a line graph and answered their conclusions. Most found that it didn’t make a difference to pour while standing or sitting.
