Sixth graders have been getting really “physical” about matter.  Labs have been done over states of mater, viscosity of liquids, surface tension and density which are all physical properties of matter.  Students even discovered they could float a paper clip on water due to its surface tension.  Things are really “flowing” and “floating” in science class this week!
