Over the past week, kindergarten students have learned about Thanksgiving and why we celebrate the holiday. Part of our curriculum includes an opportunity for our students to eat a thanksgiving meal with their parents and classmates! We had the privilege of doing just that on Monday and Tuesday!

Mrs. Newman recorded some of her students responses to the question, “Do you know why we celebrate Thanksgiving?”: “because of God,” “to give thanks,” “because the pilgrims met on Thanksgiving,” and my personal favorite, “to thank God for everything we have.” We truly have so many things to be thankful for! From all of us in Kindergarten, we hope that you take time to give thanks to God for all of his good gifts to you!
