Father of Cole (8^th) and Logan (11^th) is a marine and came to Judy Bunn’s 8th grade Humanities class to talk about MRE’s and how they are different from the rations soldiers were given during the American Revolution (our current study).  Cole and Logan’s father has been in the Marines for 20 years after graduating from Texas A&M where he was a member of the Corps of Cadets.  He flew an F-18 Hornet and has had several tours in Afghanistan.  The students even got to sample the food in the MRE!
