Lower School fifth graders travelled back in time to the Middle Ages when they entered the great hall of Medieval Times.   First they learned about the ancient craft of falconry. Then, fifth graders were ushered into the arena to watch the pageantry and spectacle of  an exciting jousting tournament followed by realistic looking combat between knights in the name of honor and chivalry.  Expert horsemanship was a highlight featuring Andulusian stallions. Feasting on roast chicken, potatoes, and corn-on-the cob with only fingers for utensils was a highlight for the boys. Mia Fair, Lorien Rhoads and friends thought eating food with fingers was a bit too slimy, but all in all, students enjoyed “travelling  back in time”.
