BROOK HILL CELEBRATES NEW TURF BASEBALL FIELD

Brook Hill baseball knocked opening day out of the park!

For those of us who remember last spring’s rainy baseball season that prevented our team from playing at home more often than not, Saturday was truly such a celebration!

We had the opportunity to gather as a community over free-hot dogs, fun, and a winning game of baseball. We also had a great time welcoming back Brook Hill baseball alumni and enjoying our Lower School Cadets’ performance of the National Anthem.

Drew Robertson, former Brook Hill, and Baylor University pitcher threw out the first pitch and Brook Hill’s Head Baseball Coach Jerry Courtney, coached the Guard to a 6-2 victory over Colleyville Covenant.

A big thank you to everyone who worked so hard behind the scenes to make Opening Day such a success, and to those who joined us for the fun! Our new turf field has already proven valuable in its first week as Tyler welcomed a week of rain – the Guard, however, was not stopped and this has us looking forward to another great season of baseball!
