Brook Hill Traditions + The Guard Dog Donut Breakfast

On Wednesday mornings, the week of a home game, you’ll find our Guard football players hanging out at the Lower School!

They’re enjoying a donut, laughing, and spending time with their Guard Dog. Lower School boys in Kindergarten through 5th grade have the opportunity to be paired up with a football player as a part of the Brook Hill Guard Dog tradition. It’s an opportunity to build relationships and foster community between campuses.

The football players line the front of the school and start the morning by helping with drop-off, welcoming their Guard Dog to the donut breakfast inside. Lower School boys typically bring their football player a fun spirit gift, and later that week at the football game, each player runs on to the field with their Guard Dog.

It’s just one of the many traditions we love being a part of here at Brook Hill!
