Twenty-seven fifth graders were promoted to the sixth grade during the Celebration of Promotion at the Brook Hill Lower School. The celebration featured poetry recited by students and a musical selection, “Let the Praises Ring/Joyful, We Adore Thee. As teachers, Mrs. Savage and Mrs. Gibson, presented certificates, Mrs. Fritcher shared special information from teachers about each student  including positive personal attributes, and Godly traits exhibited by each student along with a selected Bible verse.  Principal Fritcher also read advice from fifth graders to fourth graders about how to be successful in fifth grade.  Knowing multiplication and division facts was a piece of advice given repeatedly along with working hard and playing hard. Middle school principal, Mrs. Tammy Hays, then welcomed her new sixth graders to The Upper School. We will miss these wonderful students!
