Our Pre-AP chemistry class has been studying the different types of chemical reactions. So this week we went into the lab to experience those reactions first hand. The chemical reactions ranged from the mundane to the colorful and even the explosive. The reactions of the students were equally varied, especially when they witnessed the combustion of hydrogen gas. This is a great lab for our students to do because they get to see how the principals they’re studying in class actually work in real life!
