Chemistry Meets History at the Museum

9th and 10th grade students from Christie Adams Chemistry class visited the Museum on Tuesday for a “Chemistry at War” lab. The students traced the advances of chemical warfare from the Revolutionary War up until World War II. The students put their chemistry skills to the test by identifying “poisonous gasses” by smell, color and density (they weren’t really poisonous). We are happy to report that there were no casualties!
