Civil Air Patrol and BH

The Brook Hill School continuously evaluates new educational offerings that enhance our students’ ability to achieve our mission: providing excellence in college preparatory education, affirming the gifts and challenging the potential of each individual student, and enhancing the students’ understanding of service to God through Christ-like character.

Since January 2018, the Brook Hill faculty and principals have been reviewing the student benefits of offering a Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) and Aerospace cadet education program supported by the local Civil Air Patrol unit.

The Congressionally-chartered Civil Air Patrol (CAP) has a cadet program that focuses on college level aerospace education, emergency services and leadership training for students ages 12-18. The Civil Air Patrol educational offerings and “real world” public service opportunities are very much in keeping with Brook Hill’s vision for training our students to be confident in their faith and education.

Please join us for an introduction to the Civil Air Patrol and learn about the benefits our students, parents and faculty can derive from CAP participation. Our guest speakers will provide an informative, entertaining and visual insight into how Brook Hill will continue its pioneering college preparatory student offerings, as well as, prepare the next generation of aerospace leaders.
