Kyla Carden and MiKayla Willis are our artists representing Brook Hill this year in the Congressional Art Competition.

Every year our U.S. Representative, Louie Gohmert hosts the Congressional Art Competition for our area, TX-01 District. This year’s award ceremony will be held at the Turner Auditorium on the campus of Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches on Saturday, December 2 from 11-1. Everyone is invited to attend.

If these girls should place in this competition, their work will travel to Washington D.C. to be included in the National Student Art Exhibit where it will remain for one year. Congratulations to these girls for being chosen to represent Brook Hill in the competition and best wishes for the competition!
