During the service learning trip to the Dominican Republic, students worked on service projects and took Spanish classes at the Doulos Discovery School, an international Christian school located in the mountains of the DR.  Brook Hill students gave backpacks full of school supplies to 64 public school students, identified by their school as the most in need for this gift.  Brook Hill students made new friends with high school students from Doulos and stayed overnight in their homes, which was a highlight!  Our last day was spent climbing waterfalls and visiting the beach.  We returned with new friends, both at Brook Hill and in the Dominican Republic.
