Experiencing the Passover

This week in Bible 7, students learned about the story of the Exodus. We focused on the way in which God showed His character by delivering His people through the 10 plagues and other miracles.

Students created a comic strip that detailed each plague earlier in the week and focused on the Passover this Friday. The class learned the symbolic meanings of the unleavened bread, the Passover lamb, and the bitter herbs by hearing the story of the Passover and partaking of the authentic food (yes, those herbs were bitter, and unleavened bread doesn’t taste like the bread we are use to!)

It was a fun week in which the students were able to take in the stories of the Bible through real life experiences of art and food.
