First graders spent a full week studying apples.

We read lots of books about apples and loved hearing about The Seasons of Arnold’s Apple Tree.  We watched a time lapse video  show an apple tree through each season and even went on a virtual tour through an apple packaging factory. This is Mrs. Smith’s class writing in their apple investigation books! Students used their five senses to investigate seeds, core, stem, peel and the inside part of the apple. They also weighed and measured their apples.
